Rambo MoLog problem on Panasonic DMP-BD50

Postby lkodk on Thu Jul 17, 2008 10:55 am

Hi,

Have anybody had success in using the Rambo MoLog on the Panasonic DMP-BD50 player?
Whenever I try, it begins to download, but when it reaches 99% the following message appears "An error occurred in downloading your update. Please try
again."
During the download content is downloaded to the SD card I have inserted into the machine.
When I look at the content on the BD50 i can see one picture (some kind of MoLog splash screen or something)
When I look at the content of the SD card on my computer, it contains several files (some .PNG, .MPL, .BDM files amongst others)

I have tried to access MoLog several times but to no avail. I get the above mentioned error message every time. And it is always after it reaches 99% :(
I might add that I'm using the US version of Rambo (region free) on a region B player.

When searching Google for Rambo MoLog, it only seems to be PS3 owners that have tried to use the MoLog.

Hi lkodk,

Unfortunately, The MoLog for Rambo release has some incompatibilities with DMP-BD50 player.
However, SAW IV release will work fine, and also all future releases will be fully compatible with all BD-Live players including Panasonic players.

Our sincere apologies for that, we hope you can enjoy our future releases.

Hi tamer,

Does you mean that molog is relatived with hardware? what's on PS3?
I have a BD disc:the Forbidden Kingdom which has Molog too, but it is poor on PS3.

Hi testivi,

MoLog should be compatible with any Profile 2 player.
However because Profile 2 players are still in their early stage, there could be some differences between each player which might cause some incompatibility.

We are always trying to fix all compatibility issues to make sure that our software is compatible with all players in the market and give best customer experience.

As for Forbidden Kingdom release, you most probably have a review disc or got it early somehow.
But MoLog will be officially supported on this disc on its official release date on 9 September 2008.

Thanks,
Tamer
